Skanska USA

Skanska took over a project in Bellevue Wash., which had been dormant for over a year, and was under management of its third developer. Limited site access, was a detriment to the project schedule. The site has no staging area and over 6,000 deliveries were scheduled to allow just in time delivery.

Skanska USA, Portland placed $6 million in construction each month, resulting in the biggest project Clark County, Washington, has ever seen. The fast paced schedule, coupled with its size, required flexibility, innovative construction methods and a solid work ethic.

The building also uses some sustainable features such as linoleum rather than vinyl to reduce the life cycle impact, maximized daylighting and used interior finishes to reduce off gassing
