Pioneer Courthouse Seismic Update

J.E. Dunn designed and built friction pendulum isolators used for the first time in Portland. The system separates the building from the earth, allowing it to move more freely in an earthquake. Another challenge was the site which is surrounded by on all sides by public transportation routes.
