Greg Varney, P.E., has been named as an owner at KPFF Consulting Engineers. Currently at work on structural engineering for a high-rise mixed use project in Seattle, Varney is also working on projects for Boeing and public clients including the University of Washington, US Coast Guard, US Navy and Army Corps of Engineers. Varney is responsible for design-build work including historic renovation of bachelor officers quarters at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, the new dining facility for enlisted personnel at Twentynine Palms, and a new bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton, a high-rise mixed use project in Seattle, multiple and SafecoAir ForceArmy Corps of Engineers.
Craig OlsonandCaroline Weisshas been named principal associate at KPFF Consulting Engineers.
Weiss is the structural project manager for Immunex Corporation's Research and Technology Center Buildings G/K at Terminal 88, and project designer for the Port of Seattle's South Terminal Expansion Project (STEP) at Sea-Tac Airport. Olson is overseeing commercial office projects for Miscosoft's Microsoft's St. Andrews in Redmond, and Bentall's The Summit and Five Newport in Bellevue.
